There are various NoCode platforms available, ranging from commercial offerings like Zapier™, and RapidAPI™ through Open Source offerings such as n8n™ and red-node™. When we examined the various platforms available, Make™ provided the fastest result that customers wanted. In fact, we were so impressed by its functionality, that we implemented Cloudonix’s office receptionist, including the first version of our conversational AI, using Make™.

Application for easy call flow development

Cloudonix provides a FREE Make application, enabling NoCode developers to build voice applications – directly from the Make platform. Providing full access to all CXML modules and operational REST API modules, the Make application makes building voice applications a breeze.

The Cloudonix Make™ application philosophy

In order to ensure simplicity, the Make™ application modules are designed to be cascaded. Each scenario starts with a Voice Application Request Watcher, followed by a set of [CXML] Actions implementing the call-flow operations. Once all operations have completed, the Voice Application Response module will provide Cloudonix with the complete CXML script for execution.

When building your Voice Application Response, you may combine the output from previous modules, as required by your call-flow requirements.

Can I use the same scenario multiple times?

Generally speaking, you may use your Make™ scenario URL multiple times, while using the same Cloudonix Domain. Each Voice Application Watcher is tied to a specific Cloudonix Domain. This is a security design consideration.

Can I use Cloudonix modules without a Voice Application Watcher?

Yes, you can. However, Cloudonix modules require the connection to the relevant Cloudonix Domain, as most modules include access to Cloudonix side attributes that are queried in real-time. Also, the Cloudonix Voice Application Watcher includes some security-related features, such as authorization of the inbound request from Cloudonix, which will now be up to you to perform.

What about Zapier™, RapidAPI™, and n8n™?

Not all NoCode platforms are identical and normally, they don’t share the same philosophy. While we would love to have Cloudonix applications/modules/nodes for each of the NoCode platforms, it’s not an easy task. Currently, we’ve seen customers use n8n™ in a very efficient manner.

Can I use this application to integrate with Salesforce™ or HubSpot™?

ABSOLUTELY YES! Make™ includes over 2,000 different integrations, with Salesforce™ and HubSpot™ being just 2 of them. We suggest that you visit the Make™ application marketplace to check the various integrations available.

I have an office PBX, can I use Cloudonix and Make™ to integrate with other tools?

ABSOLUTELY YES! In fact, that is one of the most common use cases. Using Cloudonix, connecting with your office PBX system is as simple as 1-2-3, then, using Make™ and standard call-routing features of every PBX, you can turn your office PBX into a Smart PBX.
